UPDATE: Following the latest government advice on the construction industry returning to work – and because our installations take place outdoors in a lower-risk environment,  Complete Driveway Designs is once again fully operational and open for the business.

Given the current circumstances we are all facing, we wanted to take the time to reassure all our customers about the precautions and procedures we are taking with regards to Coronavirus.

We are following all the latest government and NHS advice, and as it stands, we are now able to operate as usual for Complete Driveways Designs with a few precautionary changes.

These include:

  • Hand-sanitisers, gloves and face masks supplied to all our staff for use wherever necessary
  • Increasing hand-washing frequency amongst all our teams
  • Maintaining the recommended 2 metre social distancing between all our workers on a job
  • Avoiding any unnecessary contact with our customers and keeping 2 metres apart at all times

In practice, this means that our surveyors will not shake hands with you and will keep a reasonable distance when discussing your driveway or patio. We can even discuss plans from outside your home – we do not need to enter if you’d rather we didn’t.

For our engineers, it means we will work further apart and avoid any close contact with homeowners. We can discuss the daily tasks and sign-offs through a window in order to keep our distance from you. We would never normally enter your home under normal circumstances, so you don’t need to worry about this.

Because we predominately work outdoors, we are considered lower risk and we’re able to continue to install driveways and patios (weather-permitting). Rest assured that none of these enhanced safety procedures will affect the quality or precision of our workmanship.

As a small independent company, being able to continue our work makes a huge difference to every staff member at Complete Driveways. We look forward to your continued support and thank you for your understanding during these difficult times.

We’ve always been active in the local community, and we’ll continue to offer our services wherever we can help too. If you know of anyone who could use our assistance, in any way at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
