About this installation…

This was a large pattern imprinted concrete driveway and adjoining patio, completed in August 2017 in Holcombe Brook, Ramsbottom. The previous driveway was a mess, with broken flags and overgrown grassed areas all over, leaving the customer unable to park their cars or use the space properly.

Once the grass and flags were dug out, a new front wall was built and fencing was put up on either side. Once the area was leveled and prepared, the concrete was poured in two stages. The colour was Classic Grey and was the same throughout, while the Grand Ashlar pattern was laid at different angles to give the best look. The customer wanted a base for a new garage incorporating into the pattern imprinted concrete round the back, so we created a Dove Grey coloured rectangular base with no pattern. A step was built at the front door using Marshalls KL blocks and imprinted concrete.
