School Close – Ormskirk
About this installation…
Our customer on this installation in Ormskirk wanted to transform her driveway in order to brighten it up. The existing flags were cracked and uneven all over, and laid right up to the tarmacked pavement, leaving a messy edge on the tarmac joining to the flags.
When designing the driveway, the customer wanted to leave in an existing curved feature with plum slate in order to get a bit of extra character. We replaced the brick border that was becoming loose with a pattern imprinted concrete brick border to fit in with the driveway. The driveway was printed in Ashlar Slate and coloured in Steadman Buff with charcoal release, and features a printed cobble circle at the centre and a step built from Marshalls KL blocks and filled with printed concrete.
The driveway now looks and feels much more open than it did before. We have also shaped it to the side of the house to make room for one extra car on the driveway. As in this case, many families are now needing more space for parking at home. If this is the case for you as well, why not give us a call on 01706 827180 and see what extra room we can make for you on your driveway?
