About this installation…

This project shows the versatility of pattern imprinted concrete, and how different colours and patterns can be used together. Being a large area, it was important to break up the driveway in some way, so we suggested the use of textured pathways in a contrasting colour that lead around the edge of the driveway and towards the entrances.  In between all of the textured pathways we used the Old English Cobble and Royal Ashlar pattern.

In addition to the pattern imprinted concrete we also created some planters and garden walls, using Marshall’s blocks and topped with KL Blocks. Ducting was also laid underneath the concrete leading from the house to the planters and electronic gate. The project contained two compasses and a circle, which were all acid stained to create a great look.
