Tim and Wayne, the directors of Complete Driveway Designs, will be away for a few weeks during May. We’d like to say they are going on holiday, but we’re not quite sure it can quite be called that! Just thinking about what they will be doing makes us tired. However, the cause they are doing this trip for is absolutely fantastic, and we are very proud to be involved and be able to raise money for The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity.

So, what are they actually doing? Cycling 950km (590 miles) across Spain! The fun (if you can call it that) will begin on 16th May 2018, where they will travel by ferry along with their bikes to Bilbao. A good night’s sleep will be had and probably a beer or two, ready for the start of the cycle on 17th May, where they are hoping to set off around dinner time.

Both Tim and Wayne are lovers of running, walking and cycling and are rather competitive to say the least, so when they are given a challenge, they will complete it. The aim is to complete the cycle in 12 days (they are really hoping for 10) where they will arrive in Benidorm and enjoy a well-earned (actual) holiday with their families, who have taken the safe option and will be travelling by plane.

To follow their journey along the way, you can follow our Facebook and Twitter pages, where we will keep posting pictures/videos and posts to let you know how they are doing and where they are up to. We will also be posting regular blogs on our website during the journey.

As we mentioned above, this bike ride is being to raise money for The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity. This charity has so many volunteers who put their time in to support events and raise awareness. They spend a lot of time in hospitals and at the homes of children who have brain tumours. All of the money they raise is put towards counselling sessions, providing equipment for children, adapting houses/bedrooms for the needs of the children, providing suitable outdoor spaces, the list really is endless and they do such an amazing job!

All we can ask you to do is follow the journey, keep liking those posts and show your support to help Tim and Wayne push through their training and the cycle, and of course spare any money you can for such a wonderful charity.

We are also looking for any sponsors who would like to have their company logo on both bikes and the cycle tops! This will be great exposure for your business through social media and for the whole of the bike ride. Visit us at The North West Business Premier Fair on Thursday 22nd March 2018 to grab a sponsorship for your business.
